cheers mate,

yeh they are genuine bbs splits, bbs rc 040's

and i know what you mean about the bolts. but at the time i had them split when refurbing them i did have/couldnt justify the amount people want for new bolts

Nice one, love genuine BBS wheels! They can look good on almost all cars. :)

Ah right fair enough. Could you not polish those bolts that you have on atm?
I know it would be a lot of trouble though, splitting all the wheels etc.

My mate has just bought BBS RC041/042's for his polo, and is in the process of splitting and refurbing them. He's polishing the bolts himself, takes ages though lol

i probably could polish the bolts but have neither the time nor the patience, it took long enough to do the dishes lol

splitting and re-building them making sure you use enough but not too much sealant and making sure all 40+ bolts per wheels are torqued to the correct the amount is a massive pain in the ass!!

Haha yea I'd say it takes a lot of time and effort to do all that polishing!

Fair enough, they look quality as they are! :) Don't know if I could be bothered with split rims with all the effort needed to refurb and maintain them lol
