Dude what sort of boost are you thinking of running on your turbo to be in the 400bhp range?

Well a recent TT with the 2871 at 1.6 bar made 399.9 on marlins maha rollers. Im looking to run 2 bar peak with 1.8/1.9 hold with a Blitz boost contoller. I hate n75's. The TT was using a forge Unos contoller.

Your car needs more boost to get the most out of it.

I'm sure if you run at 2.0 Bar peak and 1.8 hold you'll get a fantastic curve on the dyno reading and possibly around 400bhp.. With my map its set to 1.8 peak and 1.5 hold for driveability and track days..

Guess what I got myself an APEXi - AVC-R Black Limited Edition from Nengun performance this came through today so will be looking forward to having it installed.

The chaps at Surrey Rolling Road did suggest changing the N75 for a better boost controller hopefully this should be the one!

Apexi is great. Difficult to set up, but once done its really good.

After staying to do another wheel bearing on the diesel ive done a little more with the engine:

Now do i do the Sem the same colour as the sump, covers and rocker cover and keep the writing polished? Or something else?

Nice pics of your progress! I think you should paint the SEM the same colour as the sump and keep the stamped writing polished!

I did all the spraying myself Its a very special blend of paint too!

Gears should be ready to collect on Thursday evening so the box will get painted Friday evening and the gears and diff fitted Saturday evening. Then the engine can be fitted and the downpipe made then removed to get ceramic coated. Should I go black coating? Im still waiting for some new topmounts. CompBrake are being useless this time around.
