i took my car into my local seat dealership to get the tracking done on my new alloys to save the tyres from uneven wear! they said they could do a 4 wheel alignment so i fort sweet.
went down ther to pick it up n they were like er we havent done it n wen i asked why the geezer sheepishly explained he couldnt get the machine on my alloys!
that must b crap cos the new cupras have 17"x7" wheels n mine are smaller at only 16"x7" .
is ther any reason they wont touch non-standard/seat alloys??
wher else can you get tracking done properly??

somewher in norwich or essex cos i live in norwich at weekends. i mite have to look that company up n do it on way home on sat

only one place I know of in N'ton that'll be able to do it anyway Tom (but they're not cheap)

decent costs a fair whack.... like £100+vat

good job should be £60 or so

to get it right takes time... unless you aren't bothered about each side being the same etc

when I had mine done last the left/right side were 'the same' and camber & toe were bang on what I wanted, not within tolerance

Tyres Northampton have the same equipment as Northampton Motorsport and charge £89.95 all in, but they don't put the amount of care in that N'Motorsport do.

I'm taking it easy on the tyres (ie using other cars when I can) until I get the suspension changed, then I'll have it done.

I know dealers basically buy the brand they require, because the local BMW dealer has smashing kit but only the BMW disc. Go to a tyre place with good kit and get it done.

went to ATS Euromaster center yesterday on way home. got the front done for £22.99 thatll do me for now as looking to get lowering suspension struts and springs so will have to get it done agen then. done a pretty good job for the price.
