ye but wondering if it had been coded/tested with different keys etc

long shot i know but just trying to help figure out where your at.

Yea mate, the key is working as is the imo, its just the link between the ecu and the cluster. With the other errors and so on the chap who inspected the vehicle recons dashboard.

What's the cost like, and is that the same ecu you sent to the ecu doctor? Mine went there but I'm having doubts about them to be honest!

£240 then you have the vat on top of that plus post so nearly £300

hu! "the ecu doctor"well mate im with you i very unsure about this bloke and the company i think the bloke is very exsentric dont you think? my ecu whent there three times and the second time it came back it came back rattling ,i rang him to say something is loos inside,ha! the bloke said dont worry mate plug it in and give it a whirl ,i said you must be jokeing! if something is loos and it may be laying across something i could do even more damage than good, and i also have my suspicon that they had fitted a rong diode,i wont be going back there again

Yea I'm with you I'm afraid, worse £160 i've spent! one minute it was fixed and dispatched, the next they hadn't received it yet, the next it was in the workshop.... for 2 weeks. It would probably still be there if i hadn't pestered the cr*p out of them!

well ecu back from BBA Reman the garage pluged it in started strate away

now what was BBA Reman doing that the ecu doctor wasnt,

ecu doctor [:@] :censored: :w4nk:

now all the garage have to do is trace thing back for me to find out what was causeing my fault

ECU DOCTOR :w4nk:

If I send mine off, and the same thing happens I think we'd have a stronger case together!
