Read some of the Stage 2 remap requirements. I think Stage 2 puts it around stock Cupra R power.

Something along the lines of aftermarket exhaust, improved air filter and highly recommended to get a FMIC.

Will removing the soundproofing on a LCR still be ok with the heat even if it's been remapped?

If you want it louder than your current setup then an open filter will do that...if you want it louder than that still id recommend a turbosmart dualport.

I have the above setup (open cone and turbosmart) and its very loud! Bordering too loud for me and it's not even a full blow off valve! Sounds gooood though :D

I'm trying an HKS filter on mine at the moment, and flip is it loud!

I tried a foam Piper X filter and it was quieter than the open cone cotton Neuspeed but I hear these foam mushroom HKS filters are pretty loud. I want to try one if for nothing other than the airfeed will feed right on to it, unlike conventional open cone filters where the end is solid rubber/metal...eg:

go for the green filter cone 200mm 80mm inlet to maf fitment.. around £47

For the same reason as above, i'd try one of the Twin Cone filters which has an opening in the centre for better air intake or the Powerflow which is the same but looks nicer.

Or one of the twister filters. Edit: Actually I just read on Demon Tweeks not to use this with Turbo cars so maybe stay away from it

You have a td05 on a leon? thats not standard turbo is it?

That's Subaru isn't it? The engines and turbos on them seem to be quite forgiving and don't grumble with atmos DV's either, unlike their Mitsubishi rivals who hate them almost as much as the 1.8T.
