If you read the whole thread it does show another area to tap into the reverse light wire. But you'll be looking for a blue/black wire I believe.. Not the grey/white I used.
If you don't want to take the feed from the tail gate area the wiring which feeds all the rear lighting is above the passenger side rear wheel arch ( UK vehicles ).
The reverse positive wire should be blue/black.
Some diagrams which may help you to gain access to the wiring loom :-
These where originally posted by simmo1, I followed these when I installed sound deadening to the boot area and had no problems, just a bit time consuming.

I have installed a reversing camera, but on my Toyota with a non-stock head unit as I knew that it could take a video input.
But i haven't, yet, removed the head unit (M1B) on mine so I don't know what inputs it has...
Saying that there is nothing in the settings for video input either. So I'm guessing some sort of firmware/software update would be needed to activate video input.
If your reversing sensors are after market you could simply take the positive feed from the siren box and use that as your positive feed for your reversing camera. The video feed (yellow RCA) cable would plug directly into the head unit....
If your reversing sensors are OEM them you'd have take your feed from the same wire I did or the other wire mentioned in the previous post.....
