Has anyone got the part number for the injector seats as i've got 2 different ones one ends in E1 and is white and one in E3 and is grey and what the best way to remove them from the inlet manifold?

Thanks Tim

i have the white ones fitted, its a 19mm allen key type thing iirc, i used a spark plug removal tool, which fits just great, sorry cant be any more please dude, pics up when up get it all fitted :D

So how does the spark plug tool work cos surely it would need to be a socket to get over the spark plug but need to be a allen key to undo the injector seat?

I'll order some new white one's this week, do you know it they are all the same across the board ( audi, VW etc) for the 1.8t 20v?

I'll try and remember to get some pics but they are in the process of a re-colour at the moment hence the new injector seats.

i borrowed one off someone, wasn't a socket, more like a all in one tool, and was shaped like a allen key on the outside, so was lucky

not sure, i just went into seat and asked for some and thats what i got

Well i've got 3 out just 1 to get out but the sides have broken off so i will need to smash it carefully!! i ended up using a drain plug key to get the out in th end.

I think i know what you mean looks like a box wrench, i might have one kicking around somewhere:think:.

Need to remove injectors so want to replace the O ring, on each injector is there 1 or 2 O seals on them?
There a Bigger O seal on the inlet where injector sits, is that a different part number?

as far as i was aware both o-rings are the same size, i'm sure the part numbers are i n the part number thread for them.
