Hi all,

Just a quick one to let you know of another happy customer of Diannes-shop on Ebay :)

Took me 2 hours to install (taking my time & figuring it all out lol) - but all are working and looking VERY nice.

Mounted the drivers side ballast on the existing screw by the light (upside down) - but may swap this to behind the water reservoir (just need to take it out - 2 bolts by the look of it) in the near future.

Tried mounting the passenger side ballast onto the existing bold that holds the air feed into place, but couldn't get it on (then I dropped the nut washer thingy, it's under the battery somewhere...........). Ended up removing the harness from the ballast & sticking it to the side wall by the battery (using "scarey tape" - type of double sided tape), thats not going anywhere.

Took me a while to gt my fat fingers in between the battery & light cover to get everything in, but got there in the end....

Few q's though....

What side light bulbs give the best match ? I've put in some Phillips blue vision & they look crap compared to the HID - too much yellow :(

The casing around the HID bulb - when you screw the top bit off, how did you get the bottom casing off, or did you leave it on ? I cracked it off with pliers.........

Will get some pics up tomorrow

Mine is inside the passenger side light cover - sits just under the headlight screwed to the plastic :)

Other side fits down inside the wheel well just forward and to the left of the washer bottle - there's a fairly large M8/10 threaded bolt hole there - think it's where the SMIC would be on a petrol LC :)

Cheers Dave - I'll take a look at those :)

Rik - mounted mine the same as yours mate - but behind the washer bottle is a nice piece of metal you could screw it too, out of the way.

Lads lads lads, if you want a sidelight to match the HID colour.. get these

Wedge Sidelight SMT LED

I have a set in mine and Jonjay has seen them in the flesh and even he said it matches the HID colour! ;)

Little expensive you may say, but you get what you pay for here!!

A little note thou also, i use Ultra Leds for all my leds, getting all my festoons from there next week also! :D

fitted my kit yesterday (il get some pics as son as i can) and was landed how easy it was to fit until i turned them on and one of the bulbs was faulty so £17 for a new set of bulbs :( (sh*t hapens i suppose). Ive fitted the passenger side ballast inside the plastic cover that you have to remove to get access to the light. There is a perfect space below the headlight for it to site and the cover keeps the elements off it. Happy days, just gonna try and find a more discreate place for the driver side on when the replacement bulb comes (The intercooler bolt thats in this thread sounds spot on)

PS one of the best mods ive done as even with a bulb out the difference in the night vision is awesome with the kit. Worth every penny

Chris, i got mine from Demon Tweeks, but they have recently changed the website so i couldn't find them, but wanted to get a link to them so you could see what they were like and read up on them.
The second pic in the post with 2 pics..... AVOID. i bought 2 sets of them and the first set lasted 2 weeks before 1 bulb blew, and the second set blew a bulb the min i fitted them, so i bought the PIAA ones as they were better quality. So far been spot on.
