Just fitted OSRAM LEDriving Amber LEDs, thoroughly recommend i would put a photo up but unfortunately i cant yet as i'm still a newbie.

- Osram Part number 7557YE-02B
- fitting size PY21W BAU15s
- polarity independant can be powered either positive/negative.
- doesn't seem to affect DAB
- appear to be CAN error free on MY2015 (Pre week 22) SC FR.
- £17.95 for two from this guy ebay item 252826677038 fast postage.

only downside is they are not road legal. But then again no filament to LED retrofit will be.

Ah ok, that’s strange I’ve had no problems with mine. are you anywhere near Milton Keynes?

Nope, Cardiff.

Both are installed now, however I'm only getting an alert for the right side.
I'll go for a drive later and see if I get an alert for the left side too.

If the right continues I'll check the connections, but the bulb works fine.

That’s a shame I would’ve had a look for you and changed the light type with vcds. Ah ok that’s a good sign then maybe some wiring is lose. Does it explicitly state indicator error? As there are cables for the led brake lights like so...

Bulb works fine, however my outside tailight on one side has stopped working.

The indicator and brake lights work fine, just the taillight doesn't work.

Here's the error that is being reported.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Would really like to avoid a new unit :(

It worked before you put the new bulb in right? Firstly check the fuse if there is one?
Was it raining when you installed the bulb? Could water have gotten into the connector? Make sure the connector is seated correctly.
If all is ok then remove the bulb try again. Then replace with old bulb. See if it happens again.

Yup, worked fine before I swapped the bulb. Not sure if a fuse would be the issue as this is the only broken light.
Wasn't raining so that's not an issue. The cable powers everything, the new indicator and brake light still work, just the tail light is broken.

I've tried the old bulb but that didn't work either :(

Right ok that’s not all bad then. It’s not a gnd issue as the other lights wouldn’t work. So it has to be one of the internal cables has come unseated. Try to reseat them. And make sure it’s the same as my pic from earlier.

Hey man, I had a my2015 leon fr and had no issues with DAB. It’s really strange.

Titchy,
The bulbs I bought from Aliexpress had a DAB problem, which is why I want the ones you had. Do you know if anyone else had issues with that particular brand, Osram.
Thanks for your time pal.
