Hi, I installed 2 amps and Alpine pxe h650 in my Leon.
I can't find fuse for the remote. I wanted to find the radio fuse so I will able to turn off and on the system. Do you have idea??

Most amps switch off after not receiving an audio signal for a certain amount of time.

I removed that fuse and when I returned it the cigarette plug always on. Even if the car switch is off.

Hi again, I discovered they my hu is switched live. It is always sending a signal to the processor and that's why it will never turn off.
How can I make it turn off when car switch is off?

Got around to fitting my sub and amp today. Few things I've learnt...

No speaker wires are behind the touchscreen, if you want to tap the wires the harness is behind the media system / CD player.

I couldn't get the fuse tap seated properly in the top left corner of the fuse box, didn't have any power on the amp when I finally did get it in either. I ended up using the 30A fuse next to the one for the cig lighter (see pic above).

The pins to secure the dash end panel (you need to open the door to get to it) seem to bend easily when rushing to put the panel back on (luckily didn't snap though)

Overall it was quite easy to do and sounds much better with the extra bass.

I took a photos as I went so may end up writing it up eventually.
