Slightly off topic

i phoned up my company to ask what their aspect on mods were...as my 1st mod is going to be tints..and they said

anything exterior that increases performance, and desirability is a no-no until im 25...

so i asked about tints...and they double checked, and aparently they allow that even though (imo) it makes a car look a whole lot better...insurance companies suck...but as already stated, make sure everything is declared because they will try and try to get out of paying up[:@]

I'vve never understood the tints thing?? surley by blacking out what you can see in a car, and by adding a film that makes the glass harder to break it should decrease your insurance?

Tints make a car look more desireable, stand out from the crowd, etc

I get what your saying but. (sorry here i go)

if you see a car with tints then some ppl may think hmm whats in that car?? prehaps i'll break in and see

is that no diff from walkin down street and seeing a car with COBRA alarm fitted sticker in window? the person would think hmm.... whats he protecting?? i'll break in ?

But a cobra alarm put insurance down
and tints put it up, even thoe that extra film of glass is almost impossible to break! (depending what type you get, maybe this is where im confused)
