Your car will have a FMIC as standard.
If your upgrading your cars system then get the S3 intercooler as its bigger and OEM so your warranty willn't be effected

Not worth it yet mate, one of the later mods you will want to do. First remap, intake, exhaust...

Are u worried about warranty that's why you can't remap it car? Intercoolers are not cheap and give very lower power increase on their own. Better getting a bluefin module from superchips and reset it when u take car to dealers. Superchips just sent me an e-mail with about £100 off offer on bluefin this month.

Btw if I were u I'd sort the weak points in the engine before doing any tuning. For example, I have a mk2 tdi fr and the weak point is the diesel particle filter DPF. I'd looking at removing that before I start tuning the engine.
If u know u have a weak camshaft it's definitely worth getting it sorted.

If they use own parts I don't see how it would affect warranty. Best find an independant vw/audi specialist they are cheaper and can carry out work without affecting warranty

That's harsh having to wait for it to mess up before warranty kicks in. If the camshaft goes when the car is moving under load you'll have lot of broken and bent metal under you bonnet.
