Thought that for the handbrake cover. Gear knob and gaiter was £38 or there abouts.

Heres the part number for both bits.

( i know the rings dont shop up well there but they are more than worth it)

expensive - yes, worth it?? 100%

I really like all those things? where do you get them, how hard to fit etc?

The vent rings (RRP £25), gear surround (RRP £15) and in dash holder (RRP £45, expensive for what it is but i wouldnt be with out it now) all came from SEAT directly, have a word with Dave @ sere, he'll sort you out for them cheaper than the rrp ££

the rest came from eBay from a seller called car style bits

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Seat-IBIZA-20...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2ea6689505

again pricey but well worth it.

they are all simple to fit with the exception of the vent rings which are fiddle as anything but simple once you get your technique sorted out and remove the vent itself

can anybody help me? i have bought the chrome rings for the vents and i have done the two sides how do i fit the two middle ones??

Who is Dave? or is that a silly question ;) i like that cd thingy and the gear surround. Might leave the vent chrome things, i have fists of ham.

the way ive done mine is as follows.

  • pull off the old rings
  • pull the vent slightly forward and so it moves, (i would recommed a pair of long nose plyers to hold it)
  • pull the little black tabs so they come through (IIRC theres 4 of them)
  • then pull, i would change the plyers to a couple of long cable ties so you dont scratch the vent)
  • the chrome vent will clip in
  • line the vent back up with the pipe, straighten it out so its level and push back in

cd holder is good, i was skeptical when i ordered it, but ive been using it now for over 2yrs since my 1.2, and i wouldnt change it, awesome addition perticualy if you have the alana MP3 stereo, 5 mp3 disks 110 tracks p/disk jobs a good 'un :D, i do believe that the 911 has a similar (if not identical) holder

sere motors, one of the few good SEAT dealers around, dave's the bloke thats on here and runs the show, they have their own section on the home page

I was going to go for these covers:

(it won't let me post the link because I've made less than 12 posts)

my seats are horribly stained (watermarks) and despite being valeted several times, the stains won't shift. I'm not keen on the grey seats either.

I like that armrest, where is that from?

If I was gonna get seat covers I'd get proper ones from seat as they never fit properly but they are not cheap. Plus check if you have air bags in the seats like I said unless you are not fussed?!!

Do you mean these clicky?
I fancy those too, you can get them in red or yellow, but I have side airbags so

Yeah, Dave at SERE motors. Top guy and really quick service.

It was him that suggested the gear knob as the other 1 was more expensive. ;) Thats how good he is.
