Interior conversion/upgrade?

Right now my interior are a total disaster and so I've to order a lot of parts from dealer. Since I've to admit stock door panels are not very attractive to me, is that any other car like polo or similar that have better interior I can switch from? Also anybody know if polo had leathers seats stock? Cause I've seen some pics with that and don't know if they were stock or not. i remember I saw pics of someone that put Audi TT interior (dash, door panels ecc) in his mk2 !! So I'm ready for everything LOL

is just me or the side of the seats are in leather? door's panels looks the same of mine except for the door handles that look different, do you think is just a plug & play switch? I'm going to look for some pics of mk3 to see how it looks, mk3 cupra interior is different from standard mk3 one?

a couple of poeple on here hav fitted a whole mk3 cupra interior (dash included) into their mk2, i think it was roly and 1 other. they did it due to their 20vt engine swaps mind! but the whole lot does appear to fit without too much trouble as the mk2 and mk3 are almost the same car. failing that, just a 16v half leather interior brightens things up very nicely!

i have the leathers drom a toledo sxe in mine , front seats need brackets made up as the runners on the toledo arent as wide as the mk2 beeza , back ones dont really fit too well but you can get then in there

Soon fella...... once the koni's are fitted it's into the bodyshop within a week i hope and then after that give me an offer, think the red seat belts will be going with them to.


How much does a complete tiger strip interior go for? Door cards, seats and the red seat belts mmmmmmmmm....... would look lovely in any car! Init Crezz

damn only now I realized that obviously I need to find an Mk3 with 5 doors, electric windows on front, manual side mirrors, and manual rear windows to have 100% compatibility. Damn that's a lot of minimum requirements

I was under the impression that the MK3 door cards don't really match up to the MK2 dash, or do they just not match up perfectly? Could do with doing mine, my door cards don't really match the MK3 half leathers.

Don't match up perfectly thats all but tbh i never really noticed on his..... the whole interior takes ur eyes away from it.

If you want it to look original retrim the mk2 door cards to match mk3 seats

Help converting a mk2 gti interior into a mk3 chill

i recently just bought a whole ibiza gti mk2 interior and fitted the rear panels and all the seats the reason i did this cos the seats are nicer and plus there cheaper to get hold off!! and going down rather than upgrading isnt that bad.
now i know that the panel will fit but there needs to be some mods to be done for the switches

i need to know a way to cut the sockets for the new panel and cutting off the old panel cos things like the manaul mirror socket i need to add then the central locking button and the window switches

any ideas on how to do this!! or could i spray the whole panel to the same colour of the gti back panels but i would rather change them cos the older panel is nicer i think
