interior lights elec windows , mirrors and alarm is not working.

Hi guys i need help. Got a 2002 cupra r and the interior lights elec windows , mirrors and alarm is not working. Checked fuses and they are all ok.
Have any of you guys got any suggestions?

Hook it up to Vagcom & check to see if any codes have been flagged.

My experience with Leons is that the electrics go haywire when a bulb has blown. Check your brake lights !!

Sounds like a fuse i doubt otherwise they would all go mental at the same time. i had a problem in mine where the centre interior light switch was faulty and it caused a few electrical problems continuosly earthing but a fuse is best place to start.

He checked the fuses mate, all were OK

doh, should open my eyes when i read a thread lol if there all part of the same circuit id swap them round just to be sure.

Help! 2002 cupra r elec faults (mirrors, windows, int lights, alarm, key fob)

Hi guys, my car doesnt open or lock with the fob but does manually. The mirrors, elec windows and mirrors dont work either.

I had mr vagcom round earlier and there were no faults whatsoever.

Im stuck, fuses ok!

What now? Also, does anyone have a wiring diagram for this car?

Any help would be greatly recieved *****************

Are you sure the fuses are ok? Sounds like one has blown.

All the fuses seem fine.

Check fuse 38, pull it out (the fuse, lol) and check for a break in it. Definately worth double checking.

There are fuses under the lower dash cover on the drivers side aswell.

Thats happened to me a few times now and it was the fuse. Good old leaky doors.

The central conveinence module was checked and no faults were flagged

You have a short somewhere. May sound dumb, but I shorted my interior dome light and behaved the same results (Lights, Electric Windows, Mirrors, Alarm not working), could check what's up with that.

But, my fuse #38 blown though.

Im pretty sure its fuse 14, i had this happen on my LC last week, also be aware if your cars anything like mine locking the drivers door with the key wont lock the boot.
