Well it will look at the digitised road speed then adapt it to what it reads via TSR. If the digitised road speed is wrong, then you get the wrong reading until it hits a segment of the digitised road with the right speed on it or it reads a traffic speed sign with TSR. I might pass on how the regeneration element works. Clever stuff. It must be something that the company does that prepares the maps after they leave Here Maps for the car. Looking at bends or Here Maps does it for VAG.

Your current map in the system will have a bearing on it the MM.YY or YY.MM which ever way round it is. Nudging that on an update if there is one might correct anything that has been found. Some people get stuck on old maps with Mib 3 and over the air updates. You navigate say to the other side of Europe then it triggers off a map update if there is one which eventually arrives. These monthly updates. Might be worth checking the map updates are coming through fine.

It's good being an early adopter .
Thanks for that. I completely agree but the issue with my V3 is that the ISL is showing a totally different speed to the map and camera data (both of which are correct!). There are no mapping issues or camera issues in my experience but I understand that others are experiencing problems with either or both. My other EV is an IONIQ 5 which has had loads of map / camera issues so I’m used to those problems 🤣

Look on the bright side, it's still going to be doing a better job of recognising speed limits than us humans.
