Maintain the use of your CD changer and still have an ipod hard wired

I've been wanting to do what you guys have done and wire in my ipod to the stereo, but still wanted to keep using my CD changer (not sure why exactly, but anyway).
This girl http://cloud13.com/vw-aux-input-instructions/ has done just that in her VW Beetle. If you hide the rca and switch it would be pretty good.
I just need to figure out which wire I need to cut from the cd changer to HU on the aura.

Hi all, does anybody know if the connects2 box works with the alana head unit in the mk4 ibiza?

The box says aura but not alana....
