Is it poss to fit two dump valves?

Is it possible to fit two dump valves to a cupra engine? The reason i ask is because on my punto turbo it was possible to put one dump valve pre intercooler and one post intercooler. What i was thinking of doing was keeping my forge 007p in the standard position and fitting a second atmos dump valve either pre or post intercooler. Just wondered if anyone has thought about it or tried it before? I've done a search and can't find anything.

theres barely any pressure to recirculate anyway, 2 dvs would cause havoc, especially as the original dv is pre intercooler (except with a relocation kit) and u want as much pressure as possible after the intercooler?

I agree with mOrk and the others, i have never been a fan of putting Atmospheric DV's on the VAG engines, Jap motors and probably the punot's i imagine are fine with it but having the air re-circulated back over the MAF means that an atmospheric one is not allowing the recirc to happen.

I was just wondering if it was possible, i miss the sound of my old DV no matter how chav it is. Oh well was just a thought, will have to put my punto back on the road again mi thinks.

you could stick one up your a...... no i won't go there! (would make a nice whoosh morning after a curry

no point fitting a second one it would just mess something up. it you use a open induction kit it increases the dump noise

i once fitted a half recirc half atmos valve, but it idled like **** at the lights and had some serious turbo lag. i ended up turning it to fully recirc before selling it on. they dont work.

my car cant drive without a recirc valve normally so i have the forge dv..

but if you put a forge bov (like 004 ) next to the trhottle body it certainly works

but you must find a good spring to fit becouse you must adjust it that the bov only opens at full boost

no probs at all and no signs of a rich running car

i was just curious if this would work and jes it does
