Is it possible to fit a abs sensor without removing the wheel?

Garage has lost my locking wheel nut but are claiming it wasn't in the car and they fitted the sensor without removing the wheel. He said they had it up on the ramp. They did it at the beginning of last month so it's probably long gone, only just noticed its missing now. It's not even my car anymore!

Cheers

hi,

so do i presume you have no key now?
was this a standard type locking wheel nut?
a dealer may be able to remove these as they often have a master set. (skoda stevenage do)

Bit off topic, but there is a Herts meet thursday this week (tomorow) at the crooked chimney pub near wgc. see link in my signature.
Your most welcome to come along :) or has the car gone already?

Yep no key. It's a Mcgard locker. It's easy enough to get a replacement (£25 and up to 2 weeks for delivery!) I'm just f*cked off they're claiming they never saw or touched it. It's lived in the door cubby for the 3 years I had the car. Car has no 'gone'. Have sold it to a mate hence my involvement in getting it sorted. Only sold it on Sat. Have had a Revo'd LCR since September as well as the Ibiza. Wanted something a bit more grown up you see lol.

Crap excuse but i've just never had time to get to mid week meets :(
