I think my leon is a bit hard on fuel, not sure.
Its a 1.4 stella, mostly just me most of the time.
Mixture of motorway miles and secondary roads.
And I don't drive it so, nor driving it fast.

For a tank of petol getting about 370?

sounds about right, the 1.4 isn't the most powerful of engines. the motorway isn't its natural habitat.

Yeah you have to drive it through the gears quite a bit.
How do the 2.0 culpra compare against 370 a tank?
Its just the cost of fuel....do people use alternative fuels? pros cons

Sorry for all the questions new and not very well on leons

I'd love 370 a tank but then mines a Cupra (1.8) and it's hard keeping my foot off the loud pedal.
Normally I would get 270'ish with my daily commute which is mix of twisty with a few fast bits.
I'll get 330 if I have a good run down the A34 to my folks in Salisbury.
If you want economy then it's the dark side for you.

i get about 300 - 320 miles a tank and i think thats good!!! thats a 225 LCR using V-power. with these cars its difficult not to have a lead foot on a long straight road!!;)

I would say that your car is fine.

Maybe try a fuel system cleaner in a full tank of fuel next time you fill up?

I get 300 + on my 1.6 and i mainly do short town journeys with the odd bit of motorway 370's good

We get about 400 out of the wifes 1.4. A mix of driving around town and a 10 mile 50mph road between Mansfield and Nottingham. Rarely goes on the motorway. She doesn't rag it (no point in a ~70hp car is there?)

370 is about right. I've got the 1.4 aswell and if Im driving in econamy mode I can get 400 to a tank which is alright but when im unleashing all 73 stallions I get about 360-370ish.
I would recommend taking the throttle body off giving it a good clean out reset it and chuck some redex fuel cleaner in and you'll probably get a few more miles out of a tank.
