Is this a good brake setup

Been on the phone to GSF and they quoted me something like 70 pounds for brembo discs and pagid pads.

Also ive been given a price of 73 pounds for mintex discs and pads.

They are both for the front on a seat ibiza 2l 16v so which do you think would be best?

discs are around 21.50 each plus around 35 for the pagid fr 5050 or 5051 pads so its not a bad price, make sure they are fr pagids rather than ordinary ones.

The Brembo and Pagid FR pads are the set up ive got and i think they are pretty good

They no longer do the pagid FR pads.

A few years ago Pagid pads was the pad to go for, but I hardly see them get a mention as Ferodo's seem to be the popular choice.

Have heard Pagid Fr pads arn't as good as they used to be a since they were taken over by TMD Friction, who also own Mintex.

Between the two there isnt alot to choose, al though I'd steer away from anything with x-drilled holes.
