Just a quick update before I do the last wheel today
Done 3 out of 4 wheels so far. And TBH, quite suprised as to how "easy" it has been so far! Not saying it's been a walk in the park, but it was a touch easier than I had thought.
Was planning on one wheel a day. Thursday we started. Took 3 and half hours to do first wheel. But that included measuring, cutting etc. Then decided to try the second wheel. That took hour and half (only about 30-45mins apply the vinyl, rest was prep time).
Yesterday, well..... I cleaned the hub, brake etc whilst my mate cleaned the wheel. Noticed no weights on it (so that's why I was getting vibration). So had to take it back to the tyre place and get it balanced. Took longer to clean.... Basically, took 2 hours longer than the first.
So today is the drivers wheel. Looks in better condition. Should be a "quick" job to clean, then apply vinyl. Need to re-do the rear passenger one as that was the first, and looks **** due to changing techniques since we did that one.....
Once that is done, we need to do other bits, then use off-cuts and remaining bits to jig-saw up where there's some black showing on the wheels
its different ill give you that, what does the wheel look like from a distance as im sure from a distance you wouldnt know they were jelly beans just wondering what colour they would look from far away.
