Aye nice colour, possibly the most sought after. I used to have on just like it...and an ovni, now i've got luna gey. It's luuurvely :cartman:

Sorry to hijack the thread but...

Should a lambswool mitt be used to wash the car or to apply the wax? I bought one from Halfrauds and the Halfrauds monkey told me to use it to apply the wax then remove the wax using a cotton towel or Micro fibre cloth...Is he telling porkies??? I did think it was a little expensive for something that just applies wax lol

Lovely car btw. How many miles has it done?

The mitt is only for washing. Apply your polish with a soft cloth or a small foam pad (meguiars are good) then polish off with a good microfibre cloth. Dont rely on the halfords boys, ask here first ;)

Your welcome Al, have you tried the meguiars wax and polishes? i think everyone on here rate it, i did my car last week with the cleaner wax. Shinyer than a big shiny thing !

Thanks for the info mate.

I've always been a Mer kinda guy tbh lol. Will I notice a difference between the Mer and Mequiars? I own a silver ford at the min (I'm looking to buy an LCR ASAP) and I tend to find that it doesnt really matter what shampoo you use as silver is tough to make shine like black and red etc.

Aye you'll notice a big difference, my car is luna grey and it is absolutely sparkling with the megs. I was round at the petrol station earlier and there was a guy staring at the car, cant blame him to be honest, it looks better than new lol. I really must get round to posting a picture of it.
