Hi

I've been doing a bit fo reading and found these and ordered them. Total price for discs and pads comes to £160.20 whichi think is cracking value!

Eurocarparts - 2 discs 323mm - EBC discs - £57.00 each. Total inc del of £131.20

Mintex Pads (Brembo) fitment - eBay seller "yescarparts" - can't post url yet - approx £29 inc delivery.

I'm not interested in uprated parts as I never really thrash the car and find the standard set up fine. Also they are brand parts so should be up to the original spec.

I will be fitting them myself and will let everyone know. I don't work for either company so not recieving commision etc just thought i'd save others the time I spent searching.

Thanks

Paul

There are several similar items from ebay seller. The one i ordered shows it having the wear indicator cable. I also checked with mintex and it shows the same part no also with them. So yes.

Well i fitted the discs and pads tonight. No problem and both correct size and fitting. Ive yet to have a run in them due to having my 3 year old helping me and the car seat being in my wifes car who's at work. Grrr! I will post feedback on them once bedded in.

Right, had the brakes a couple of weeks now and finding them fine. They bite well when cold and not had any fade as yet after having some spirited driving. For the money I think they are a great set up. Maybe not the feroddo ds performance (whatever there called) but with never having them i have nothing to compare against. It would be interested to compare braking performance (any one West Yorkshire???). So i have saved a small fortune (approx £250) and can recommend them.

I recently changed to those mintex pads from ds2500s. Low temp braking was very similar; however I found prolonged braking led to fade a lot quicker than with the ds2500s.. ds2500s are now back on mine :)

yup, bridge the 2 wires together and seal, job done.

Wont this bring the light on permanently ? I thought wear indicaters are 2 wires buried in the pad at the same depth, when the pad wears down exposing the ends the disc completes the circuit bringing on the light - will stand corrected tho.

Ahh, in that case the wire in the pad must be a loop and the disc wears it away breaking the circuit ?
