Thanks mate. Mileage wont creep up too much as it is really only a week-end runaround for me.

is the exhaust you got just a standard replacement or a sports one?

Yeah mark it is on springs but the ride is crashy as hell so I have the coillies at work which will be going on soon. Exaust is a standard one. Not going the performance route with this one for a change lol.

Haha i dont blame you tbh, you never get your money back anyway for doing it and it its not gonna help performance, i mainly get exhaust systems for a nice sporty sound not for performance

glad to hear you've got some coilovers, will look really good once theyre on, i thought you'd probably end up putting some on somehow lol :p

you sticking with the wheels or getting more?

When I have some more money spare I will sort some nice decent deep dishes (BORBET A's?) but until then these can stay on.

Stick a 1.8t under the hood ;)

 If only mate!!!

Well today was a productive day. Got the alarm and radio sorted and fitted the TT wiper arms and blades. Now the entire windscreen is wiped clear with them :cartman:

Next on the list is the windscreen on Tuesday and while that is out I will quickly switch out the wiper motor with an uprated one which is more powerfull ;)

I can get you a running colour concept black MK3 1.8t with TT comps for £1500.. We did the conversion to friends car when his 8v gave up, we bought and installed an AGU setup from 80k MK4 along with 02J gearbox with hydro clutch setup, had the wiring loom adapted by wiring guru rubjonny and ECU decoded so we can run car without MK4 clocks/keys etc. It will be a plug conversion for your Rado, break the rest of car and get some money back. Areas of attention to this conversion i my eyes would be get a proper downpipe, stick a bigger turbo on, and remap. PM me if you want further info :)

Refitted the windscreen tonight and discovered where my leak was coming from. Poorly fitted screen and some rust made for a nice little path for the water to follow. All fixed now should should not have that issue again. Also fitted my new FEBI wiper motor, super fast wipers at last!!! Next order of business is the roof liner and sunroof seal.

Good progress on the car today. Sorted out the drivers door handle after the pin broke. Upgraded one now so finally have a working drivers door handle. Replaced the roof liner too which was fekked from the leaking windscreen and also replaced the sunroof seal as the old one was mouldy as hell.
