Hey folks! Long time lurker here, think I made a few posts a few months ago!
Anyway, I've now owned my Mk1 Leon Cupra 180 for about 7 months and Love it! It's time to do some mods.
I was informed by the previous owner that is remapped to around 205bhp...I have no way of knowing this, but for now I want to do some engine and performance modifications and then I'll have it on a rolling road to see what the Map situation is.
I've just bought a Forge 007p barely used for £50 from someone local, just been serviced and greased ready to go. I've also ordered a Jetex Cone and some silicone vacuum tubing (4mm?) for when I feel brave enough to attempt the N249 Bypass
Question is, will I need an elbow for the Jetex filter? Or will it fit quite nicely as it is...I know there are some issues with dust ingress/heatsoak etc but I'll tackle that once It's on (Any suggestions?)
Also, I've found most of the N249 Guides for the AUQ engine a bit confusing...can anyone point me in the direction of a really straight forward guide, possibly with pictures? I know what I'm doing with most things in a car - but as this is my first Turbo engine I don't want to mess anything up concerning the aspiration system.
