Thanks for the lovely welcomes lads!!!

The LCR Feels rapid in comparison..... haha

Yeah the porsche rims were 928 rims polished by myself.

The LCR now i may not touch for a year as really cuffed with it and like it how it is now....i am mainly gonna be doing engine mods, the only visual mods i will do is the possiblity of fully adjustable coilovers....

But happy atm and will only mod when i get bored hehe

Thanks again, i hope to make lots of friends on here :)

I had a LCR from new and covered 110K miles great engine, but the rattles drove me mad.

How did you do the wheels. I have those on my 928 and would like to polish them, ie did they start off as the standard painted ones?

Yeah they did....

Just used varying grades starting off at a low grade (very corse paper) of wet and dry sand paper increasing upto grade 3000 (very very fine paper)

After doing this i used autosol metal polish and a few rags to apply, work in and rub off the polish onto the metal surface...

If done correctly you can get a really good result...

great, thanks for that, I will probably pick up a second had set of slots so that i can work on them off the car, as I definitely want to get some polished rims on the 928, either that or get some Porsche cup wheels off the GTS.

Enjoy the LCR I sill miss mine in some ways, but it doesn't really compare to my new daily and my weekend fun.
