Just fitted my SplitR DV. Few questions

Is it setup right? Discharge on the bottom, pressure in from the right? It dumps so guess it is.

Just I got a little confused as mine wasn't the standard Bosch valve, it was some kind of Forge one, al get pics up of that soon

Also, how do you no when you have the right settings on it by turning the top. Basically should be dump on red line when you rev it? Because right now it's dumping well before that. But haven't drove it out yet.

Yeah thats the correct setup, basically its up to you how to set it up how you like-if you want the dump sound i've read somewhere that you turn it all the way anti-clockwise and the turn it about 7/8 time back clockwise that works well,

Dont set the Dv so it only opens at redline, thats not its purpose.

It should (and will if set correctly) 'dump' whenever boost pressure is there to vent, when you let off the throttle or change gear the dv will respond to being 'on vaccum' rather than postive or neutral pressure - so it should and will dump well before 7.5k if you let off the throttle or change gear

It will be feint at low rpm as the amount of boost generated at that point is lower than further up the rev-range.

You want it so the piston opens. Get a mate to check for you that the dv opens when you rev it.

On mine everytime I let off the throttle I get the 'whoosh'. More boost = louder whoosh.

put it this way on my LCR with 265bhp i only have mine turned approx 20 clicks and that holds boost levels well any firmer and it will not release boost properly and cause your turbo to stall
