Just got back from Donny... My poor car

just got back but on the way my gear box went. i could only use upto 4th gear, and on the motorway that means 60-65mph! i got overtaken by a caravan once!
so now i need a new gearbox

polished my car before i went, it looks like ive been ralying, ive got a unknown source little tear in my bucket seat, and i really need to go to bed.

half decent show tho it was better at doncaster to be honest... too big and odly spaced.

couldnt find any SEAT stands and couldnt evenfind the turners stand who my dads friend was with.

all in all tho, after camping was a pretty good weekend, the tent next to me had issues and in the morning i had police at my tent wanting to know details about them and if i knew what had happened and when i woke up ther tent had been taped off, as i guess a crime scene?

its for a 95' ibiza N ABD engine 1.4 8v... ive put a anted add in so hopefully fingerscrossed. othrwise itll be a trip to the scrappers... again

lol you know you go there too much when the scrappers direct you to the beezas without you even tellin them why you're there.

I was at donny all weekend didnt see ya car tho. I thought it was loads better at the circuit rather then at the race course. Loads more cars to see and a track to watch. Think Turners would of been down from the pits in the ice area where the clarion truck was. I know the ICE competitions went off next to the castrol car catwalk. There was so much to see tho! Took me 2 days to find everything this year, took me 2 hrs last year and I had photo'd everything!

i prefered it at doncaster to be honest, seemed much more organised, although this year it was the firstat donnington so probably better next year.

oh, i had a look in the scrappers i thought i knew where your old car was, wasnt the one, so i dont know where it is? when did you go down i guess you camped? we arrived at about 8.30am saturday morning and the original campsite was full so we went to like an 'overflow' campsite, miles away... almost.

good weekend tho, didnt buy anything whih i was pretty gutted about, usually idbe up on stage trying to win something but i wanted to get an ap this year but there just werent many. good to see a few good installs tho, ive been on talk audio a bitreading posts and am getting a fairl good idea about whre i want to be going with my audio, just seems to be the expensiv route for amps...

was there a SEAT stand there? some very nice cars though

Just as you came in via the tunnel I was on the left hand side.

There was no seat stands. Not that many seats either, think I photo'd most of them except yours so I guess yours was in camping overflow.

oh i know of few scrappies thatll have boxes in them, so ill go ver or give em a call today, see what kind of price im looking at.

a guy on here called dougy69 might be helping me out with one too, so well just have to wait and see

Didnt see any of your cars guys

I was there just for sunday, left glasgow at 3am and drove down.....

I was driving a mates scooby and we got parked right at the entrance outside......its a bright yellow with carbon bonnet scoob.....

Was a good day, that pink SUMO 350Z was awesome!

Seen a 1.4 Ibiza in onvi with huge rally fogs on the bonnet, a couple of mint cupras but that was it really, no seat stand......

had some funny with a couple of lovely ladies in a focus on the way home
