I'm not in any rush as I've only just advertised my car on Autotrader last night.
As soon as I sell my car I will be on the phone asking where it is.
Although if it goes into Feb I will be waiting until the first of March to get the 07 plate.
Does anyone know if the car comes with an alarm?

Me too. I'm gonna call, or pop into, the dealer this week and mention that to them.

AFAIK all seat ibiza's come with an alarm and immobiliser, and the fr and cupra have CAT 1 alarms.

An alarm on my Sport was part of an option pack, so they don't all have alarms.

FR & Cupra have a Cat 1 alarm, plus it's part of the Luxury pack on the other models. All models have an Immobiliser installed.

The car doden't have an alarm and would cost £170 fitted.

If it was going to be any later than that I would have waited.
I'm fitting my private plate anyway so it dosen't really matter.
I was just thinking of when it comes to sell it.
If I waited that would be another 4 weeks and I'm not keen on it sitting at the dealership for 4 weeks.

I am not so sure that the dealers really mind about the plate now, I was just asked what year it was, and not what plate, before I was given a price.

Like you I am going to put on a private plate, so I dont really care if it is a 56.

When was it you ordered your car, and where abouts was it when you ordered it?

Ordered the car a week last Friday 12/01/07 and I think it was already on it's way to the U.K.

My girlfriend got a call from the dealers this morning. Her car will be with them on Friday and be ready to pick up on Monday.

She has to call Norwich Union to arrange for 7 days free insurance.
