Just purchased an LCR....

Hey Guys, Great forum!
After much soul searching I finally chose a Ebony Black 2005 (05) LCR for my new car. The reason for my choice is that it ticked every box in my requirements, my main need being something practical, sporty and subtle (unfortunately for various reasons my car gets parked in unsavoury locations).
The car is almost perfect in my eyes, the styling is absolutely gorgeous and I think the LCR is the understated hot hatch bargin of the recent years. I like the fact that people havent really latched on to this!
I was pleasantly surprised, that whilst subtle, the car still turns heads in traffic (especially traffic jams!).
Im sure many will argue that lots can be improved on the car, but in terms of affordable, out of the box performance car...it cant be beat!
I have owned cars from all major VAG groups, starting with the 2002 1.8T (150bhp) MK4 VW Golf GTI, through to a 2003 1.8T (180bhp) Skoda Octavia VRS, then a 2004 1.8T (190bhp) Audi A4 S-Line Quattro...and on to the LCR. Whilst the Audi had the "Quality" feel (and price to match)....the LCR has certainly been the most fun to drive.

I *really* dont plan to do alot to it in terms of mods, but I feel I must Revo it...as all my cars have been revo'd....and I expect one or two other mini mods will follow...again the LCR is soooo nice I purchased it with the intention that I wont mod it to the extreme, hence save me money in the long run.

Once again....great place you guys and gals have here...I hope I can be of some use around here! :funk:
