Took my car to a Diesel specialists today whinging about MPG, like normal and they advised me to get a direct replacement K&N filter which would allow my car to breath
better and thus increase the MPG. They advised that in winter the paper filters work less efficiently due to moisture in the air and this then makes the car drink more fuel, sounds good to me and so i've ordered one, however what i'd like to know is has anyone else got one of these and if so did they notice any improvement in mpg.....Looking on the K&N website they mention maybe a small increase in bhp but being an old sod that appeal diminished about 20 years ago.
