sorry split r are wank imo , open cone filter with 007p is more than enough dumping sound, but don't like bov sound unless its on a scooby or evo

I'm running a smoothed airbox with Green Cotton. I found smoothing the airbox made more of a difference than the air filter for performance but the filter allowed me to hear the turbo and DV better.

Yep seemed to - even before I had a remap. Seems to flow well too - have seen 222BHPs worth of Gs through it on the motorway around Christmas on my Liquid Guage. I have 98 Ron APR Stg1 set.

Smoothed first then panel filter. I suppose the smoothing could have made it louder - just assumed it was the filter. Did them within a couple of days of each other a few months back.

You might as well do both seeing as smoothing the airbox is free. It just takes time and elbow grease! There are guides somewhere.

I'm looking at smoothing my MK4 Ibiza Cupra 20VT airbox but i was going to get a Green panel filter, can't find one for the MK4 though????

I put a green cotton in and it's made the spool and dump louder!
