k03 or k03s

ive just brought a 04 leon cupra and have been looking into what stages there are stage one looks like 200ish bhp with a remap but i was looking at 220-230 bhp with is stage 2 yess??? fmic, k03s turbo, induction kit, and exhaust do i need anything else????

how much should it cost to get to stage 2 and has my car got the k03s turbo on it

what cars do they come on tts?? lcrs??? s3's???

any help will be apriciated and im sorry if these are things that have been descussed before im new to the vag seen!!! ask me what you like about 200sx s13 that was my last baby

Have a little search mate, there is all the info you will ever need on the here already.

I think your car should already have a k03s mate, LCR/TT/S3 all come with the k04 turbo.

Stage 1 map alone will take you upto 205-215bhp.

For stage 2 you will need a FMIC, turbo back exhaust, induction mods (Forge TIP and a filter) and a Forge 007p DV and you should see 240bhp. Depends on who you get to do the mapping you may need a 4bar FPR too.

not sure on the remap i was thinking of getting a mitec with hi flow cat as my boss gets 40% off them an induction kit and a rolling road remap what sould i see then anyone recomend a good rr remaper???

If I were you I would stick to one of the VAG specialists and site sponsors. P-Torque (I have there stage 2 ), REVO, Custom Code, APR, AMD, Badger5 and prob a few I have missed out.

im down south bognor regis if i say butlins people seem to know where im talking about!!!

is there anyone near here i can take it too??? also what induction kit should i go for i was liking the look of the piper cross kit any good????

If I were you I would go to Badger5 (Ibizacupra on here), he's in Glouceste. One of the very best tuners around.

car will have a k03s on

2001 onwards had the k03s, 2000 Leon had the k03

most of the mods you have listed will get you to 230bhp

FMIC will be needed for sustained boost and a turbo back exhaust with race cat

best induction kit is a green panel filter in your standard airbox, large cold air feed and smooth the inside of it

remap places I would suggest are AMD and Badger5

For the price it would cost to get a larger smic you could get a fmic mate, not worth concidering.

Forge do an uprated SMIC, but I have NEVER seen anyone on here run one. As Damo said it was not much cheaper than an FMIC

The intercooler that Forge do for the 180bhp version is twin pass, which IMO is not good

The Pro Alloy one for the LCR does fit and is a single pass.....but this requires quite a bit of cutting as it is designed for the larger style LCR bumper (this is what I have on mine, and believe me...its tight and bloody massive!!)
