I just got my k03s this morning...

And am gonna fit it my self...I have a good enough idea on what todo..

do i remove tip and undo Downpipe to the wastegate then Undo the 3 3 bolts to the manifold...

Then is there a oil return feed to the turbo ? Does that simple unscrew and there 2 bolts holding the k03 to the engine?

O and shall i but some caps over the k03s holes to stop things fallings in...

Just looking for some advice really..

Oil shouldnt piss out dude, coolant will tho so have a tray handy, and maybe worth clamping up the coolant lines further back to stem the flow.

Some of the lines are right awkward to get to as well, should be two lines on top, one below and one on the side i think.

Just take your time, have a swear tin handy, and ring M47NER if you get stuck!! We could even pop up :p

Danny, have you bough the new gaskets too?

as you will need to replace these I understand it between the turbo to DP and manifold to turbo

I did it with 2 axle stands. Not ideal but it works.

most important thing is to replace washers for oil and coolant line. I forgot one for the coolant line and all gushed out. Had to practically take off entire turbo again to get it back on.

yes its a regular single layered copper washer. don't know the size though.

As for oil, there is quite some discussion over this one here. there was a thread not long ago about this. conclusion is that people here use anything from 0w 30 up until 10w 40.

Right we got Danny's car running finally tonight! But mani is blowing slightly but not bad, but going to change gaskets anyway. But hes only getting 13psi max boost did couple of quick logs to see if can see anything wrong but they all look fine to me, seems as though its running properly. Just want to see what you think.

I think its due to the leak in mani gasket, but what you think, here are the logs. Know there not good ones but just quick to see whats going on.

still have no idea how to read logs

did you remember to plug off the second vac pipe which no longer has to run to the turbo? (k03 has 2 vac lines going to it whilst k03s only has 1)
