i bought a k04 turbo and found one thing that i dont know where it for is?
the red arrow has a m8 thread but when the water return line(above) is installed the line is in front of that one?

When i fitted mine i found a problem, im not sure if it is the same but
the k04 has got an egt when fitted to the lcr or s3 and that sensor is about £150 second hand so i did a lot of research and found its a 1mm pitch bolt and i couldnt get one for love nor money. got a bolt from a honda civic vtec flywheel for about 80p job done! Hope that is your problem. One way to see if it is that is fit it and fire it up, if it blows like mad then you know thats your problem. the bolt is easily fitted once the turbo is on. if you still cant find any other info try the leon section?
