kkl vag 409 cable

hi every body ,
i bought a (USB kkl vag 409 cable) but not from ebay store Or ross-tech site , i got it from chinese supplyer, i tried to connect it to VCDS v11.11.4 but it's give me a message (interface not found) ,
is it need a spicial usb driver ???
i am using windows 7/32bit ......
i haven't idea ,, how can i use that cable ??? it will be useless if i won't able to use !!!!
if any one can help ,, or any idea ??!

I think you need vcds lite for that cable

It will say Port Ok and Interface not found... Plug it into your car with ignition on the last click and then try it, will work fine then!

thanx Rob,,i take my laptop over there and plug it into my car , and ignition ON ,, the same message (port ok , interface not found) !!!!

i think it's a USB driver needed ,, i tryed alot of driver but there is maybe a unique KKl vag 409.1 driver for ebay&chines cable kit ......

yes , right now i just tried to install it , (CDM 2.08.24 WHQL Certified) ,,, not also working ,, i will got crazy

have a look in Device Manager - It can be related to the 'com port'

I know i've had to play around in the past to get it working.

Try assigning a different com port

Ive done 5 so far for mates..i always assign to port 1 if i can.
As long as you have followed the link in the second post..there shouldnt be a problem.

Yes they are in Kuwait rely on Japanese cars because they bear the intense heat and grueling weather conditions

u can figure the few seats cars runing here in KUWAIT , its 10 of seat leon ,,, 8 is 1.6cc and 2 is 1.8cc , i take 1 it's auto gear box ,, and another guy take the manual gear box ,, hahaha

toledo also around 13 cars all of them is 1.6cc

it's funy country ,, u can see the strange

but i still need help to make my cable work ,,, i feel bad ,, i can't use it !!

If you have installed the driver correctly (note - you are using Windows 7) - Than it's more than likely going to be a com port issue.

Try going into the BIOS and disabling one of the items - So that it can free up another com port.

i update the bios , i disabled ports and config some ,, still giving me error

Is this whilst it is plugged into your car or just when you are indoors trying it?

I get this error if I just try to test it, Once it is actually plugged into the vehicle with the ignition on, it's fine
