Knocking Noise from Front drivers side wheel

Hi guys, as the title says, the cars developed a knock on the front drivers side wheel by the sounds of it! its come on quite loud over a day, and gets worse with the more i drive it!

It is a knock knock knock that gets faster with the speed im doing, it does not knock when i accelerate or brake, only when coasting in or out of gear!

Also it knocks the same around corners as on striaghts, does not get louder or quiter, it knocks with engine off just rolling to, hope all this detail helps lol!

Im suspecting either wheel bearing or CV joint but not sure

Hi mate got the same problem what was wrong with your car and how did you fix it

well its just my stupidity! lol

I changed the brakes and refitted the alloys after being refurbished and had not tightened the bolts on drivers side

I normally do them as tight as possible with car in air, then jack it down and tighten them properly, but i was in a rush and drivers side was the last so i must have forgotten to tighten them when i dropped car off jack

But tightened the nuts and noise has completely gone!

Good idea mate that could be whats wrong with mine had the wheel off for a good scrub a month or so ago cheers for advice
