Folks,

i put new wheels on the car at the weekend - whilst my factories get 'work done' all was fine over the weekend BUT whilst driving this morning there is a knocking sound coming from underneath - when i first got the car there was a loose heatshield underneath that was tightened up - so i don't think it's that, i can see nowt wrong underneath either - any ideas?

Seems pretty common(used the search) , it's new tyres too so perhaps the 'not so quiet PZero's' usually drown it out!! lol

My car makes a light knocking/rumbling noise at the front passenger side wheel too.

When i came round to having my front tyres replaced it emerged that the wheel was actually out of shape and couldnt be balanced up properly! Luckily the bloke at the garage told me about it and didnt just take my money without telling me.

upon closer inspection it appears that the temp. wheels are rubbing on the caliper mounts - with this in mind i'm going to buy 3 or 5mm spacers and fit them tonight to hopefully stop any contact - any issues i should be aware of?
