Wow, 280hp with the original manifold ? aren't the 30mm average of the pipes to small for 280hp ? If you have to buy a upgrade manifold for the turbo, you can directly go on gt2860 oder 2871

No with a high flow k03 fitment exhaust manifold.

nice one mate just picked that turbo up the (ko3s)lol wich was acualy a ko3 but it dont bother me as its gunna be sent of next week to crt..the turbo blades are blits and it seems that there is sand in the thing fook knows whats gone on there ant even an acuator on it but it was gunna go for an uprated one of them on there anyway same as bennys done

Actuator rated to 13-15psi is what you want, mention it to CRT when you call them and they can sort it out for you.

Carnt complain with the CR turbos hybrid, mine made 276bhp and 292 ft lb last year-and even then it was struggerling to hold boost so i think ive now got a weak actuator as im loosing boost...so need ask CR turbos if they uprated mine at the time... either that or a boost leak.

Definetly the root I am going down.

It's certainly cheaper than any other turbo setup for that power and the spool up of the ko3 is really appealing. Especially if Bill can map them to hold that boost the 6k, thats some going! Will definetly be getting mine mapped there even if it is a right old journey for me.

Benny, does your hybrid make a louder spooling noise compared to your normal ko3s setup?

think its more the map...the hybrid prob max out at about 300 mark like the k03 stage 1 is 200 but max is only 210...

LOL, louder is a understatment! I even PM`d Bill to ask if jamie B`s turbo whistle was loud as i was worried i may of had a leak!

Try a pressure test mate, Bill uses a good way with a foot pump i think, there supposed to start opening between 13-15psi.

bill is the man for the job! had mine done last weds, will give my full verdict im my readers ride thread i will be doin in the week. mine was ko4 023 not hybrid tho. the new map is a different world to the old map.
