Koni FSD's and standard springs

I know it may not achieve anything, but if this many people are so unhappy with the ride of the FR and are considering selling their car because of it, maybe it might be worth complaining to SEAT about it as a group. Surely they'd have to pay some attention to a large group of us?

I know the answer will probably be along the lines of "you bought the car knowing the suspension was like that", but you never know.....

Definitely interested in sorting out the suspension. Not as comfortable as my old Cupra.

Can someone please confirm that these are the correct FSDs for the Leon Mk2 FR TDi? I understand from Chris's post that they should be 55mm.

my 56 FR TDi was 55mm. so would imagine all Leon FR TDi's will be the same.

Aplogies for bringing this one up again.

Took my new FR TDi on a long trip yesterday and found the ride quite tiresome and jittery. Would like to try and soften the ride a bit to make the long trips a bit more comfortable. Not particularly bothered about lowering the car too much as I don't really want to draw attention at the dealers - as I assume it could affect the warranty.

From other posts there appears to a lot of people considering changing the suspension setup, but only a few have - (and they appear to have gone for springs and shocks, and subsequently a lower setup)

Has anybody changed the springs only? If yes, did it make much difference and which ones did you go for (I've seen Eibach Pro mentioned in other posts)?

When changing both is the ride height fixed, or can it be adjusted so that it doesn't change much. I agree that in lowered form the FR looks more natural, but as mentioned before I don't want to draw attention as regards the warranty.

Went to a local VW specialist who didn't have much experience of SEAT cars yet but suggested that I try and gleen a bit more info from the inhabitants of this site. His initial reaction was that both the shocks and springs would require changing. Obviously this starts to become pricey (shocks are nearly 3 times the cost of the springs).

I like the car alot. Looks different and has a great engine. Sorting out the ride for long distances, which feels a lot worse than the couple of test drives that I did, would be the icing on the cake - actually resurfacing all of the roads would be the cherry on top of the icing!

Any advice would be most welcome.
