Anybody got any thoughts about putting a Koni sports kit on a ibiza mk4 cupra Tdi. I know it will lower it about 30mm,which i dont have a problem with but i dont know weather the CV joints might have other idea's!!

Yup, Koni shocks + springs I think, gazjones had them on his iirc??

No worries with cv joints etc, mine is lowered 75mm + and no problems! Touch Wood!

Just had tracking done, that was another issue, too low to track lol!

Think im gonna wait and get some kw coilovers, need to let bank balance recover after what ive spent recently tho!

Hmm, not sure yet, Its gonna be a bit of a faff getting something which will fit over the seat sport calipers so will prob stick with std wheels for now, dont wanna go up in size think 17's look just right when they are slammed! Might see if i can get em colour matched to the grey trim, would go well with bonnet bra then as well! I'm not copying mate, honest!!!

Need a FMIC and Milltek on mine first...

Put my milltek on last fri, sounds so much better, make sure u get the non res system with the decat down pipe, when you when you change gear at low revs you get an awesome wastegate type whoosh, the turbo sounds loads louder and the recirc valve sounds loads louder too!

Cheers guys. How much power do you reckon you got coming out of your cupra dozza??...
I'M putting mine on jkms rolling road in september,and i'm guessing about 175bhp with it freeing up and all that.

Had it remapped on sat by pete at Bell Autos he rekoned it will be putting out about 190+ bhp and 300+ lbs ft, feels bloody fast now anyway and when you boot it the Milltek makes it sound so much less diesel like!

Bunnin you say you have got a Koni sport kit on your ibiza,could you tell me how much lower it is and is it straight, you same front as back. i was looking at a coil over kit and it said 30mm lower front and 20-25 rear...

It will never be straight/level, mine is all way down on the back and the car looks like a wedge shape, corners great though

i found a set of full adjustable coilovers... delivered 270 quid. un known brand. but the people on clubpolo seem to like them.. seen them on the a ford focus too.

ill be getting a set but need to get holiday out the way first and then a months wages from new job

well i seen a few kits and to be honest i cant tell the difference between these and the KW kit... ill buy a set and let people know what there like.. the guy put a set on his track car and said there a little to soft for track but thats the only bad thing i can find and to be honest i aint after track use so the fact the slightly softer is better for me

im interested in allards blanking plate i am just texting will to see if mine hasnt been switched off

No worries smee, if ur interested mate let me know! I know a few people have been quite happy with the cheaper types of coliova's etc, but there also seem to be a few people who have problems, guess the quality of the kits must just be a bit hit and miss! I havent heard of any quality issues with the more expensive kits tho!
