does your car have 2 sensors or 1? if its the rear then when i changed mine on my lcr followed the cable off the rear one to a little box. had two unscrew 2 plastic screws an inside was a plug. unplugged it then undone the sensor off the exhaust (cat) was a little tight but did come with force. then put new one in tightened it an then joint new cable at box replaced box an all was good. mines a lcr but yours shouldbt be to different if its the rear one.

I was looking lately through channels on vag-com and i had no reading from one of the lambda sensors (im not too sure but i think it was "0" all the time). Maybe its a stupid question but - is it broken? No fault codes.

I think B1 S1 would suggest it's the front lambda sensor i.e. before the cat. I have an intermittent error on my post cat lambda sensor but no eml light. I've not been able to have a look yet to see where it is, but might be different on a Toledo V5 anyway?

Search for Lambda sensor location, it should come up with something on here.

need help

hi there fokes bt im on here looking for sum help as my EML has been on for sometime and i dnt knw wot my next move shud be as ive got it turned off by a kwik fit menchanic b4 but it jus keeps cumming and stayin on. do i need a new lambo sensor or wot as it failed its MOT on emmissions.[:@]

part number for sensor one/bank one is 021 007 057/058 should be able to get one from gsf for around 70 notes. if its coming up with a lambda fault code each time u reset it then i'd say it needs changing. hope that helps
