When your ready today tomorrow when ever bring it back and i will
RETURN IT TO STANDARD FOR FREE AND THAT IS IT.

Im sorry but spitting your dummy out on the forum slagging me off wont and has not got you anywhere.

Im well within my rights to refuse any work under the circumstances, but i will if your not happy AGAIN return it to standard and that is all im willing to do now sorry.

Im a fare man and as posted YOU were happy when you made the post about your car after the first map was done.
Then you were happy on the second map now you are groning again.

Sorry and i know it may not be 100% profesional of me but im also throwing the towl in on this one and the return to standard offer is all im offering or live with the car as it is .

I personaly dont care any more and ill take the consiquences of my actions of doing so in the future im sure, but i wont be pushed around from forum posting and preaching c*ap about a company who WAS willing to go to massive lenghts to help you.

this kinda sounds like a similar thread from last week where a lad started bemoaning the fact that his car was not as good as it *should * be after a map.. THAT dealer returned it to standard, too what more CAN you do?
fair play to Bell Auto's for at least even OFFERING this.. most places would give no more than *short -shrift*, to be honest..

Dodson, i think you have put yourself in a bad light on this one. No one (big name company or otherwise) will want you near they're workshop after that little tantrum! And you now have to go and face Pete in order to have the car put back to standard..... rather you than me.
@ Pete: Fair credit to you for even offering to touch his car after this outburst. I'm sure you have gained respect on this forum not lost it. I hope your future customers are more willing in helping you to help them.

im not commenting on the situation at all

but just want to stand up a bit for dodson as he seems to be taking a bashing-ive known lee for about a year, speak quite a bit and he is a great friendly guy who has always been helpful to me with advice on the car and plenty of banter!

just dont want this to all get out of relativity. professional/work issues aside, this has to remain solely about the issue, not personal

i fully agree with the above, often people's comments on such forums are taken the wrong way and even out of context, no-one should judge either party over forum banter.

I think returning his car to standard FOC should be the end of the issue, from what it looks like in here, Pete has changed/tweaked the map on more than one occasion (over a period of weeks/months) - I wouldn't personally give him a refund after this length of time & the amount of man hours that has gone into this.............

people, i think complaints should be taken to the Citizens Advice B and not forums... however... im pretty sure there is some kind of law that may well help Dobson. Basically he's paid money for erm... a re-map and a de-re-map and hence he's paid money for pretty much nothing. so the CAB may be able to help you on this one as you havent got what you paid for. to BAS... this may sound a little against u but with all due respect i have nothing against u, i respect u for offering to have a look at Dobsons car which makes u more of "good and moral person" and "fair from heart" but in this situation i think its fair to look at both sides. i hope these kind of discussions do not take place on forums as they tend to never get anywhere... please make this the "LAST POST"

im sorry mate.. but thats not the right response at all... if you sell someone a service, and that service is not what it was supposed to be, i would also be looking it fixed.

If you remove it and put the car back to std and will not offer to help on the problem, I would be onto my solicitor and issuing small claim court procedings, basically paying for a remap.. and getting well... nothing.

Yes, I agree, he may have went the wrong way about letting you know his fustrations with the map, but still feedback is feedback, and the above statement from you shows you up in a very bad light IMO. If that is your attitude, I know I wouldnt like to have my car mapped by you, look at that last thread where REVO was mentioned, the guy was not happy, they offered to try sort the problem, but he was not convinced, he wanted a refund, so they gave him a refund and sent him on his way.
