The lines that you've got on your standard brakes will fit the 312mm set up.

Will you have to replace the seals around the pistons?

gutted its still not fixed mate, if i was in your postion right now i would be offically pi55ed

obviously not something small like i earlier surgested, just hope it up and running asap

europerformance sell goodridge braided hoses

Nice one Rich. I'll concentrate on that when I have something called money.

I know they will but I've heard they are a bit tight? I don't know if I will fella - hope not!

Turbo is off - pictures will be posted soon. I'm not gonna say too much, but it looks fine. I've had a VERY interesting chat with Turbo Dynamics and two other tuning companies and learnt a lot over the last few days!

Turbo is being checked over tomorrow, if all's fine, I'll have it back tomorrow. Then it fitted Thursday. All being well. :)

i used the TT hoses as they are quite a bit longer and it would be very tight on standard hoses

That's what I thought. I dont wanna be putting brake lines under pressure!

Did you remove the turbo yourself mate??

No - not had time fella. She's currently in a garage on my work estate, with her guts everywhere.

So MORE expense but we should finally be able to come to a conclusion depending on results.

Turbo pics - looks like one of the veins has been ground down a bit. It can't be catching as the others are fine, looks like it's just been shaped, or the metal varies cos it's a different colour! But it's not split, how it looks!

The lad at the garage was a bit miffed as he said most of it had been over tightened and was a pain to get off. Which wasn't P-torque's fault to be fair.

To be fair Ash, cant see anything wrong at the current moment.

Id guess the change in surface colour on that particular blade, would be where it has been machined for balancing.

So whats next if the turbo is fine?

weird mate

I'm no turbo expert by any means, but I would say that turbo looks spot on! There's no shaft movement, the veins are all intact with no scraping or hard movement. The housing is immaculate.

Turbo Dynamics seem extremely sure that there won't be any problems with it, but are going to check it over as requested. Their help and customer service has been A1! Extrememly pleased with them as a company. :)

That's exactly what i mean, i think that vane has been taken back a bit to make it spot on. It looks like it's had a very light top layer shaved off.

If the turbo is fine, I get in touch with P-torque and we sort something out between us. But that'll be sorted by email. :)
