Hi gents,

Ive come accross an ad for the above spec and was wondering if anyone had done this sort of mileage in a similar vehicle and could tell me how seats' cope with it. Are there any known issues / things that need to be replaced ?

Thanks

Mark

As long as its got full service history, appears to be in a good condition and isn't blowing blue smoke out the back...and the price is right. It should be fine.

Might be worth getting an inspection done though on a car with high mileage, just for peace of mind.

As Zboyd says - really look at the condition and if possible take it to a garage or have a total inspection done as they will be able to check the car over really well and advise you of anything that will need changing soon or now.

You should be able to get a good deal because as soon as a car goes over 100k miles the price usually drops - make sure you get a good price for it!

From what I read before buying one the LCR engine if treated well and serviced regularly is a very good engine and with VW you would expect so. The turbo can go around the 140k mark but this can obviously vary.

In all honesty a seat with 100k miles should be ok and if treated well by previous owner should have loads of life left.
