Lcr 210-Stealth project

Hi all i have been on here for almost a year now originally had a cupra 1.8t 20v 180 bhp.I have just purchased my LCR 210 early on this month,looking forward to not only improve performance but also cosmetically adding those little touches that just set her off.

Heres just a basic list list of the main things for the up and coming months(If anyone has any other ideas please share as i'm not massively in the know of LCR's )

Stage 1

Well if anyone has any other suggestions voice them.Now i will post a few pictures of the car on the first day i got it..

I then a few days later ...invested in some Dodo juice shampoo,Bilt-Hamber clay,Pre wax cleanser,and Purple haze wax(Lambswool mitts,drying towel,buffing towels,edgeless glass towels,foam finger applicator and foam cutting applicator)

This was after the shampoo,dry,clay and pre wax cleanse

Then today arrives my smoked side indicators....

Then came the removal of the old...

...and the fitting of the new

My Richbrook tax holder arrived...

fitted...

Next are the window tints they will be done on the 20.4.11,then i have to wait a couple of weeks for my stage1 of Engine(performance/cosmetics) God damn waiting lists

I know i havent done much right now but let me know what you think and like i said any ideas more then welcome and would really be appreciated as i have seen some unreal LCR's on here,more mods soon

Nice mate, I'd just do the remap after the DV, cone filter and dog bone mount.

Also I would add the updated Red coil packs to stop them popping (awesome Gti stock them see my readers ride for info) as they so far have no fails recorded unlike the OEM coil packs.

Are you set on darker wheels? I'd look at a contrast so something lighter, polished or even a bright lairy colour.

Oh I'd de badge the side Rs if it was me and add the Golf/A3 Aero wiper arms to the list - nice and flat

Yeah i heard about those coil packs but thought maybe they were just a different colour n did the same job but i will defo invest in some as i hate it wen coil packs go

I took the rear wiper out as i hardly ever use it and bunged it off with a grommit smooth n sleak can i get the golf/a3 aeros of ebay for the front or ???

Aero wipers are expensive mate, eBay will now and again have them but rare finds, think it's after a 52/03 reg but the difference is easy to spot. Dealers sell then but you will pay around £80 for just both arms.

Yeah coilpacks are revised apparently, all mk4/5 Gris and R32s have had a recall and these fitted.

Love the rear de wiper I want to do this myself, what size is the grommet needed?

Good choice of lcr buddy, black lcr,s are the fastest lol if your getting it remapped and especcially if your going stage 2 later then I would reccomend getting a badger5 3"TIP instead of a forge tip, it allows more airflow which will increase your torque and top end bhp a fair bit, it certainly transformed my car.

Nice LCR mate, black ones look awesome when clean and shiny. Get the cone and DV before the map, badger5 tips are expensive but worth it if going to stage 2. I'm going to get a creation tip which is cheaper and slightly smaller but as I'm not going past stage 1 I'm not going to justify spending twice as much. I though mine looked much better after debadging the side R badges BTW.

Thanks,it was hard to find a black one in good condition ever so hard to come by(especially wen there stupidly fast,i've heard alot about these 3"TIP's looks like the shopping list keeps getting longer

Cheers took long enuff well literally all of the stage 1 will be done at the same time so that i can get the full potential out of every part as well as the engine itself.I've debated getting the black R badges same design just black n look awesome what do you think?

Think its 22mm last time i recall lol but if you check out this link halfrauds do a pack of 3 19mm 22mm n 24mm for only £1.79 quick fix as i would say

Well seens as you asked so nicely i spose i dont mind lol but i dont want to come to a meet n everyone got a set lmfao Probably the best fitting ones i have found usually the ones in the past for other cars have bin a little loose or to big these clipped in and dont move a mm lol.What have you got that i can have a link for now lol???

New wheel centres

Bought some wheel centres the other day arrived thismorning tell me what you think as i find:a little bit diferent is never bad and it tidys the old ones up

The old ones horrendous not sure how the previous owner had got them to this stage

The new ones ...

Tints tomorrow + Red Awesome GTI coil packs ordered today

Just cleaned the old ones and dryed them and stuck them straight on top,not bad for less then a tenna Will c how they go if they eventually come off then i will get some new standard ones again Oh and 55mm bud
