LCR Anyone Tried Forge Recirculation and Blow Off Valve. Woosh Noise?

Dont get me started on the split r valve mate. Be a clever boy and put it back to full recirc and feel how much smoother and faster your car is ( just go out and try it and get back to me , thank me later )

You mean putting the Split-R to recirc with the blanking plug ?
Or use a DV007 instead ?

Or are they the same in recirc mode ?

Well, in full resirqualtion my particular Split R is making a hell of chatter noise. Sounds like compressor surge. And thats not so good in the long run. In hybrid mode the car is less responsive. Feels just less energic + slower shifts. And we dont want that, do we?

pretty sure I got it set up alright. I talked with Forge and they told me 16clicks stock and 20clicks remapped. After testing any combination emaginable all I could conclude with is that in full resirqulation mode its by a landslide better to drive than in hybrid.
 
ive tried both tried the fully recir forge and the spliter valve with the woosh and cap on. i found the spliter was quite laggy it really needs setting up properly with a rollig road or something as there are a lot of settings. the closed one seems better. and still has a sound just dont sound that chavvy.
 
I had it one of these on my ibiza, took a while to get the right setting but once you find it , it works just as well as the 007p. It may take you days it may take months but id advise using vag-com to do some logging

With "setting", you mean the amount of clicks to turn, not ?
Or is there more involved ?

What would you log with VagCom to check it ?

ok, so I have mine in full resirq and @ 20 clicks. (by Forge reccomendations and testing) Ive tried all settings between 5-25clicks. So, how many clicks do you have set yours at? Are you remapped?
 
get a forge 007p dv an open cone filter an you'll be more than happy an with no running probs!!
 
I was also happy with my Split R until after remap and when I noticed how much better the car was in full resirq.
 
Another one saved from the EVILS of the split r ....... MY WORK HERE IS DONE!!!!
