Looks lovely mate exactly how I want mine. Do you think the TIP helps make the MAF more stable compared to the standard hose? I think blue goes best on a grey car :)

What strutbrace it that?

the maf doesn't move about much at all now so the bracket for the induction kit has less work to so is probably less likely to break the maf housing. the strutbrace on mine seems to have made a difference when cornering, and doesn't seem to wander about as much going quickly in a straight line either!

I thought my ears were burning.

Chopping the silicener out isn't that easy, but there is a knack. Do a search on "charge Pipe" for lots of info, plus some pics here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/p.revill/Charge Pipe/

Basically, you peel back the edge (you can see a "join") then slip a small chisel in and chop downwards, chopping the fins off the back. It helps to burn some of it out first to make it more brittle. Once it's all out, you can weld in a replacement bit of tube. You might be able to sleeve the inside of the silencer without removing it, but I think that would be a bit pointless...
