LCR HID conversion

I have just brought the bosch HID conversion for my Cupra r and was wondering if anyone has fitted one and if so did they come up with a good place to hide the ballasts ? and also i have heard you can fail an MOT for having HID without headlight washers any truth in this?

think its a bit of a grey area legally.
they must be self levelling and have washers on new cars.

retro fit, im not sure where it stands legally.
ive heard of some failing on the light pattern.

i found that my ballast on the driver side sat behind the expansion bottle and the drivers side qi put it in the battery tray!

Thanks, fitted them last night and they look alot better than the standard halogens.
